
OVERVIEW
Zinnia is an insurtech company focused on modernizing the life insurance industry by providing innovative, consumer-first solutions. The Thrive: Career Planning Guide e-booklet was developed as a strategic resource to help employees reflect on their strengths, set career goals, and map out their professional growth within the company.
I led both the Creative Direction and Art Direction for this project, conceptualizing the guide’s structure, naming it, and designing all visual elements to ensure a cohesive and engaging user experience. I also introduced the idea of dividing the guide into distinct sections—Reflection, Career, and Skills Planning—to provide employees with a clear, actionable journey.I worked closely with internal stakeholders to align the guide with Zinnia’s brand identity while incorporating thoughtful layouts, clear information hierarchy, and interactive elements that facilitated meaningful career conversations.
Beyond its initial purpose, the Thrive: Career Planning Guide became an integral tool in Zinnia’s performance review process, helping managers and employees navigate development discussions with clarity. It also served as a foundation for integrating career growth planning into Dayforce, Zinnia’s HR system, further solidifying its impact across the organization.
